Samantha's ideal home

Samantha can live with children of high school age but needs to be the only dog at home. We have no history for her and cannot guarantee that she is house trained.

Could you be Samantha's perfect match?

Samantha has been a huge hit since her arrival at the centre! She's super sweet and had a narrow escape as she was due to be euthanised elsewhere as an unclaimed stray. She's been bred from in the past, and thankfully her future looks a lot brighter now she is in our care. Sammy is very relaxed in her kennel after taking a day or two to get used to it, but she loves when her carers come to take her for a walk. She is a little unsure about going somewhere new but does well with lots of encouragement, and loves to potter about. Samantha has met lots of dogs since she's been here and is very friendly with them, but she doesn't like if they're too bouncy. She'll happily walk beside anyone and can be playful with some, but may be happier as the only dog at home. Sammy LOVES toys! Typically she likes a good game of tug with her handlers, but she'll also fetch and swap toys too.

American Bully Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a American Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
