Description

Hercules's ideal home

Meet the legendary Hercules! He's a nearly three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier x American Bulldog who's friendly with everyone he meets. Hercules would like to be the only pet in the home but would be happy to go on walks with other dogs. Hercules could live with children who are at least 12 years old. Hercules cannot be left to begin with, leaving hours should only be introduced once Hercules has settled into his new home, he would like a home with someone around all the time as he does struggle to settle. Hercules would like to have his own garden to play in with a 6ft fence. Hercules wold like a quiet area, he struggles around loud noises, he finds the hoover and fireworks particularly worrying.

Could you be Hercules's perfect match?

Hercules is a friendly boy who is a lot of fun to be around. He absolutely loves being with people and he could fetch a tennis ball for as long as you have it in you to throw the ball! He can be very bouncy when excited and can at times be strong on lead, so he is looking for confident adopters who are happy to help teach him alternative behaviours in these areas. Hercules would need a home happy to do some positive reward based training plus help and support with his housetraining. Could Hercules be the one for you?

American Bully Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a American Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
