Description

Amber's ideal home

Amber is looking for a home as the only dog, as although she is friendly she is very OTT and needs to work on her social skills. She can live with children over the age of 14. Amber is house trained and can be left by herself for about four hours.

Could you be Amber's perfect match?

Amber is a lively young lass who just cannot contain her excitement when it comes to meeting people. She has bags of energy and loves to wiggle her bottom at passers by in the hope that it is her turn to come out for walkies next. She is super friendly but tends to approach with her little fat feet first and gets over excited! Her adopters must be willing to work on this with her as it won't be appreciated by folks who are happy to say hello her. When it comes to other dogs, Amber is equally enthused to introduce herself! She can become too much too quickly, so any socialising should be done with confident dogs outside of the home and on lead until she has learnt how to interact more appropriately. Amber knows some basic training already, and would love a family who can continue this and also work on her lead walking as she can be strong on lead. She'd love a family that will allow her sometime to settle as she's likely to be overexcited in the first week or two. She loves her toys and treats in equal measure!

American Bully Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a American Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
