Description

Scrappy's ideal home

Scrappy can live with children aged 14 and over that are confident around large breeds. He needs to be the only dog in the home but can have friends outside. Scrappy is house trained and can be left for two hours or so by himself.

Could you be Scrappy's perfect match?

Scrappy is a big lad who wags his tail so hard at people that he almost breaks it! He’s a happy lad, who enjoys his walks and likes to put his nose to the ground and take everything in. Walks can be a bit of an effort as he’s strong on his lead and would benefit from some loose lead training. Scraps is an affectionate boy who loves a fuss and gets a little giddy when people pay him attention! He has lived with a dog before but they didn’t get along, so he’s probably happiest by himself at home, though he enjoys making pals to go for strolls with and is rather sociable outside. Scrappy loves his tasty treats and takes them ever so gently from people. He also enjoys journeys in the car too, making him an excellent adventure buddy! He could use a little TLC and some fattening up, but he's a joy to be around.

American Bully Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a American Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
