Billie's ideal home

Big beautiful Billie has been with us a little while now, he is a larger boy but he's just more dog to love and he is a favourite with staff! Billie is not only large in size but also large in character, he will have you laughing and keep you entertained, he will need new owners who have a sense of humour as he is a bit of a clown! He likes to think that he is a lap dog! Billie is still a baby and is still learning all his basics and how to behave in certain situations. His confidence has come on leaps and bounds in his time here but he can still be a little worried in new situations, especially if it's raining! He is therefore looking for patient new owners who will continue his training and give him time to settle in. Billie could live with older teenagers 16+ who are confident around large, boisterous dogs. He will need to be the only dog in his new home currently but we are working on how to behave appropriately and he enjoys having his walking friends. He is all legs, gets so excited and can be extremely rude....not all dogs appreciate this! Billie walks well on the lead and is very food driven. He can however, be strong so new owners must be physically strong enough to hold him. Billie LOVES his toys but so much so that he has eaten some previously. For this reason he can only have extra large toys and must be monitored closely when having chews, toys or any other items. We have no previous home history on Billie so he will need house training and any time being left will need to be built up gradually due to his age and energy levels. If you are looking for a new companion to join your family, Billie really will make someone a wonderful addition and will keep you smiling. You can not be sad in his company. You will need the patience of a saint but once settled into his new home he will make someone a wonderful addition.
