Angel
Angel's ideal home
Angel is a very loving girl who can be wary around men, so any chaps must be prepared to meet her a few times at the centre so she can get to know you. As a nervous girl we would recommend slow introductions where she can flourish in her own time and become more confident in herself. She could live with children aged 16 and over. She will walk along side other dogs however doesn't appreciate much interaction with them, therefore we would recommend her being the only dog in the home. Angel is housetrained and can be left for a couple of hours during the day once she is settled in. We recommend having a few meets with Angel to build up that bond before taking her home. Angel has had to have a few small tumours removed whilst she's been with us, and her adopters must be aware that there is a possibility that one or two more might pop up in the future.
Could you be Angel's perfect match?
Angel is a shy girl who lacks confidence here in the centre, but over time she has shown to warm to her carers and now has a stronger bond. When she knows you, she is always excited to see you. Angel enjoys her walks round the centre with her handlers - she's rather ploddy and will make frequent stops, so don't take her anywhere you need to be in a hurry! Tasty treats are a way to build up that bond with Angel, once you have that trust you will have a friend for life. Angel isn't too interested in toys at the moment, but we're confident that once settled into the right home she may start to warm up to them and become a more playful girl.
